Small Business IT Support

Overview

I am currently freelancing at a growing local computer shop in Somerset that is expanding its business support sector. My responsibilities include creating and maintaining Microsoft 365 tenants, working on projects, and troubleshooting.

Goals

• Support their clients with their 365 needs
• Help create 365 tenants, maintan and make any changes requested
• Manage Configuration polices, MFA, compliance polices, Conditional Access Polices and secure score
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise or make any required changes

What I Do

• Set up and manage Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive)
• Configure security features such as MFA and anti-spam policies
• Troubleshoot any issues that came up and made any requested changes
• Setting up Autopilot - Only done a few tenants so still learning this.
• Take on projects - I recently made an holiday booking system adding logic with power automate

Outcome

Supporting a small, growing business has been great - it has allowed me to help them during a busy time and also keeps me learning when new issues arise.
